| Stregheria is a Nature religion. There is a Goddess and God who are believed to be equals representing the different facets of the Divine Consciousness’ manifestations. The most common names for them are Diana and Dianus. Nature is seen as the manifestation of spiritual forces. Magick is the art of knowing the interrelationship between these forces and how to influence them.

Second in command are the Lady’s attendant or Maiden and the Guardian. The Maiden takes care of the altar and is the aide to the High Priestess during the rites. The Guardian responsibility is to ensure initiates act properly during the rites and for the High Priestess’ safety. Basic Beliefs of the Strega and Stregone They believe in amulets that protect from negativity and talismans that attract what is desired. Special gestures of the hand can bring about protection or power. Incantations are an art. Auguries or omens and signs, are read in nature.
