The relation between the attended college and the success in career is not as important as the relation between the knowledge acquired and career success. Nevertheless, the selection of college might influence other variable, which in turn might be directly or indirectly influence students’ work future. Prestige vs. Costs The college that the student will select will determine the amount of money spent on education. On the one hand, large colleges might provide more courses to choose from, which might not be important if the student has already determined the major.
