Scholars of Boren study those languages, which are not commonly taught such as Arabic, Korean, Russian <a href="http://www.tesneakers.com/nike_air_max/nike_air_max_" target="_blank">Nike Air Max Lebron</a>, Chinese, Portuguese and Swahili but are not limited to these languages. <br />NSEP has chalked out a comprehensive definition of national security realizing that the horizon of national security not only includes conventional concerns of safeguarding and furthering the well being of Americans but also challenges which the society is facing globally such as disease and hunger, environmental degradation, population growth and migration, sustainable development, and economic competitiveness. <br />Boren Scholarships stress on the promotion of long-term cultural and linguistic immersion and thus proposals to study abroad for more than two semesters are strongly supported. Preference is given to those proposals of undergraduate students who are willing to study for full one academic year. <br />The awards for this scholarship are of maximum $10000 per semester and $20000 for entire academic year. The students receiving this scholarship in return have to commit to work in the federal government as per procedures of NSEP. <br />America in the education arena has always been providing many scholarship programs and among them Boren Scholarship is specially kept aside for undergraduate American students acquiring expertise and experience in those areas of the world, crucial to the nation’s interest and future security. Through the scholarship, students can acquire substantial amount of resources and encouragement to pursue their studies abroad and are subserviently presented in their perusal of their studies. <br />If you are applying to undertake an experience in study abroad program in a country outside of New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and Western Europe, which meets the standards of the home institution, then you are eligible.
