SCarowinds runs from 7 p.m. to midnight on the following dates in 2009: September 25 and 26, October 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 25, 29, and 30. Check out the talking pumpkin named Peter along with lots of other Halloween-themed fun. Howl-O-Fest offers a costume parade and contest for visitors. Careful costume selection is recommended if kids are going to be riding the rides and walking at Carowinds.
