Post subject: air jordans 2011 A Collectors Label for Elvis Pres
Goal Of The 'Follow That Dream' Label
Begun by Elvis experts and archivists Roger Semon and Ernst Jorgensen, co-producers of all the Elvis Presley product at Sony/BMG Music

, the 'Follow That Dream' (FTD) label (a subsidiary) issues up to ten CDs per year of previously unreleased Elvis material, which they have painstakingly trawled from the archives. Live concerts and previously unreleased versions of songs are now available in abundance in addition to reissues of classic Elvis albums with additional tracks and outtakes.
Whilst Sony/BMG, through the work of Ernst and Roger, have released several outtakes and alternate versions of Elvis's studio material on series such as 'Essential Elvis' and various box-sets, they have tended to cream off the most commercially viable. The FTD label is slowly making available astonishing numbers of studio outtakes, most of which are of interest only to the true collector. For example, Disc 2 of the recently released 'Jailhouse Rock' contains 13 takes of 'Treat Me Nice', 13 takes of 'I Want To Be Free' and no less than 22 takes of 'Young and Beautiful.'

Elvis Now Is Released
Elvis 75 By Sony Records
Hollywood, Nashville and Memphis
Many of Elvis's sessions were held in Hollywood, Nashville and Memphis, hence the single-disc FTD releases with titles such as 'The Nashville Marathon'

, 'The Memphis Sessions' and 'Out In Hollywood.' These CDs cover particular years or sessions and offer the same multitude of unpolished dif
Elvis's between-song banter with the audience is often revealing, even if, among the dozens of FTD issued concerts, the same songs are, inevitably, in the set-list. Many of these official CDs have previously been released as bootlegs and will be in the possession of hard-core fans, yet FTD can offer two advantages: better sound and legality. An audience recording has been used on one occasion, that of Elvis's renowned 1976 New Year's Eve concert in Pittsburgh, famous on the bootleg circuit for years.

, Elvis's producer, recorded many of his live shows on a soundboard hence the number of good quality recordings which the FTD label has made available. It should be remembered that most of these were never originally intended for release and do not always capture Elvis at the top of his game; nonetheless, they have great appeal for dedicated fans; titles such as 'Dixieland Delight' (Huntsville, Alabama 1975), 'Takin' Tahoe Tonight' (Lake Tahoe, May 1973) and 'One Night In Vegas' (Las Vegas, 1970) are just three of the CDs which have satiated fan's demands for new material.

These releases are targeted at the dedicated collector who previously would have purchased unauthorised bootlegs to satisfy their demand for unissued material. They are specifically separate from mainstream Elvis releases which are stocked by record stores and aimed at the general public. The CDs sell about 10,000 units each and are available via mail order from various outlets, especially Elvis Presley Fan Club Sites, such as Elvis: The Man and His Music.
Classic albums are issued in gatefold style with lavish booklets boasting high-quality photographs and session information. Two-discs offer excellent value for money (retailing at around £20-00), with the first disc usually providing the original album, bonus tracks and session highlights; the second will offer numerous outtakes from the sessions which spawned the album. Fans can hear Elvis working at songs in their early stages, giving instructions to his musicians, and general banter. His great sense of humour comes through during the recording process.
