The novelty delivers. <br />On a sprawling New Zealand sheep farm, a genetically engineered sheep experiment goes horribly wrong, mutating the sheep into blood-thirsty killers. The protagonist Henry, who is deathly afraid of sheep due to a traumatic trick his brother Angus played on him as a child <a href="http://www.cheapkicks2011.com/nike_air_jordan/air_jordan_13_xiii" target="_blank">nike jordan 13</a>, heads back to the sheep farm to finish things with his brother. However, little does he know that something evil is brewing in the lab and amongst the sheep. To propel the freakish accident that causes the mutation <a href="http://www.cheapkicks2011.com/nike_air_max/nike_air_max_95" target="_blank">cheap air max 95</a>, are the stereotypical environmental activists who, in attempting to put an end to the sheep-engineering scheme, actually end up accidentally causing the outbreak to occur. The film wastes no time as the potential darkness behind the concept of &lsquo;sheep&rsquo; emerges in the opening scene: the antagonist Angus kills Henry&rsquo;s pet sheep and then garnishes himself with the bloody skins to scare him. At this moment the film proclaims that unnecessary gore will be used, and will be used in excess, until the end of this 100+ minute film. <br />Read on <br />Dracula (1931) <br />Black Sheep <br />Narrative Style That Wastes No Time <br />Why Sit Through Two Hours of Killer Sheep? <br />Beyond the campy perfection, the cinematography is surprisingly stunning. Panning shots of New Zealand&rsquo;s rolling hills work to establish a heightened eerie tone as well as set this film apart from the “B” horror film category. The plot is ridiculous, but don&rsquo;t rush to shelve this with those “B” movies. It&rsquo;s special. Also, the shot composition is so intentional in the way that it works to accent the underlying humor in the film&rsquo;s excess while still maintaining a pseudo-horror film tone. <br />The film&rsquo;s exaggeration, which most certainly includes the ridiculous running time, is what marks its brilliance. There are probably 15 subplots simultaneously occurring, tackily colliding together in just the right melodramatic spots. Of course Henry&rsquo;s (the protagonist) estranged older brother is at the center of this genetic engineering accident.
