To remedy his current situation Charley did what he usually did when things grew unsatisfactory-he ran away. This time the running consisted of a 'free' ride on a train headed for Omaha, Nebraska. <br />In St. Joseph two other lads, who each weighed in at about 130 pounds and were taller and broader than Charlie Miller, were bidding their families farewell.
