Ames won 53 straight games with Barnes and North Carolina is counting on some of that winning pedigree to help make a difference for a Tar Heel squad coming off an uncharacteristic 17-loss season in 2009-10. <br />Barnes, regarded as the nation's No. 1 recruit, scored 13 points to lead his team during Friday's UNC intrasquad scrimmage. <br />Previous players Roy Williams Jersey has grabbed out of Iowa have worked out well — Raef Lafrenz, Kirk Hinrich and Nick Collison at Kansas — and look for Barnes to make an instant impact on a national level. <br />"If he's as good as those other three, he's pretty dog gone good," Roy Williams Jersey said.
