In western India, Ahmadabad is an exciting place to be as it is the commercial and cultural heart of the region. Apart from the traditional textile industry, it is a rising centre of academics, IT and other scientific industries. Currently, Ahmadabad has become the hub of a lot of activity. In fact, it would not be incorrect to say that it is the fastest growing tier II city in India. Since then, the city has not looked back. The real estae scenarion has only improved in the recent times. The city is witnessing rapid and large-scale construction of residential and commercial properties that includes small house and retail shops or office constructions. <br />The Ahmadabad cityscape is fast changing with the development of infrastructure such as building of flyovers and roads. Also, recently, the government has given a nod to develop the Ahmedabad-Dandi heritage route in Gujarat. Ahmadabad real estate developers are fast coming up with residential townships, malls and office spaces. The real boon for Ahmadabad infrastructure is that a metro rail service will soon become operational in the city. Another icing on the cake is that Ahmadabad already has three ring roads while the fourth one is being planned. <br />All major players in the real estate sector such as DLF <a href="http://www.suprasoutlet.com/supra-cuban-ns" target="_blank">Supra Cuban NS Shoes</a>, Unitech and Raheja Group have developed different projects in the city. Even Reliance is now planning commercial projects in the city. Other players such as Saumya Constructions, N.G Developers, Navratna and BGP Builders are also coming up with world class residential apartments. Looking at the growing interest in the real estate of the city, government is encouraging different types of mini townships such as Technology parks, logistics parks, residential townships and medical and health care townships. <br />With the growing demand for real estate but not supply on the same level, the property prices in the city are also skyrocketing. With each passing year, the prices are rising by 15 to 20 percent. This could also be attributed to the strong NRI connections and the rising spending powers of the city dwellers. The entry of large retail stores has also upped the property prices in the city. <br />With a strong and growing economy and the vision of the developers to make it a clean, livable and self-sustaining city, currently Ahmadabad is also a bankable place for real estate investment. The upward trend gets a boost from the setting up of IT parks, SEZ parks and the growing investment from NRIs.
