Vault Exclusive Interview with CCP's Chantal Zuurm

IGN Vault Editorial Manager Staci "Rosethorn" Krause was in Iceland for EVE Online's Fanfest 2008, and while there she interviewed the Senior Game Designer for EVE's current project called Walking in Stations,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Chantal Zuurmond.
In this exclusive video interview, the lovely and charming dev explains the concept behind the minigames being introduced in WIS. In the real world, she says, you go to a bar and hang out with friends and have a drink. Unfortunately the beer in WIS is not going to have that "magical effect" it usually has on people (bummer!) so they had to create a reason for players to socialize in the space station bars. She then goes on to discuss each of the different minigames being included in WIS,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], particularly SecWars, a rather complex game involving the conquest of an island. According to Chantal, two other minigames are already being considered for inclusion - Mahjong and Poker - and they are looking for suggestions from the player base on a fourth game.
