Selvarossa Riserva 2006. This red wine has also won the presigious Gambero Rosso wine critique Tre Bicchieri (three glasses out of three) Award [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], considered the best in Italy for the last two vintages. After a 14-day maceration of the grapes the wine reaches fermentation and is then transferred for aging in small oak barrels for about 6 months. The wine completes the aging process in bottles for another 4 months. Selvarossa's color is an intense ruby red with purple tints. It has an intense aroma and it leaves a persistent vanilla flavor on the palate.
