work engineer Scott LaPlant was raised in Escanaba, Michigan, and attended Northland Baptist Bible College (now called Northland International University) in Dunbar, Wisconsin, where he studied business. Currently, Scott LaPlant has been everything from an IT Manager to a Network Engineer and everything in between.
In 2006, He became a crucial member of the team at Dutchland, Inc., a full-service manufacturing and construction firm based in Gap, Pennsylvania. As IT Manager, Scott LaPlant was responsible for all I.T related functions and he was involved in several effective initiatives improving Dutchland, Inc.'s I.T. and telecommunications infrastructure. Then he left Dutchland, Inc. in October of 2009 to pursue another opportunity.
In his present role, he is involved in improving centralized and automated network management systems cost effectively and in line with the corporate goals of a firm worth more than $20 million. Responsible for employers entire telephone communications network and its computer infrastructure, he remains a singularly important member of the company and has twice been recognized as Employee of the Month.
