you have made up your mind to set up a free membership site. Good for you! Now you need to carry out these steps in the order presented to complete the job of getting your website up and running.
Step #1: Determine the subject of your membership site.
What will constitute the primary subject that will be discussed or the primary item that will be sold on your website? This is the initial decision that will need to be made since nearly everything else will depend upon this decision.
Step #2: Decide on a name for your membership site.
Here you want to build a list of several different names that would identify what the chief objective of your membership site and its theme will be. for more the ones that have less than twenty letters in them at the top of your list.
Step#3: Determine what names are available.
You can go to any webhost and do a domain name search starting out with the names you have selected that have the least number of letters in them. Search until you discover an appropriate domain name. for visit get additional ideas you can go to any search engine and do a search for 'domain name generator' and use one of these services to brainstorm additional domain names.
Step #4: Register the domain name.
Pretty simple here. Just go to any of the domain registrars and register your domain name for a small fee. Try to get the domain name so that it ends in .com. My to favorite registrars are GoDaddy and NameCheap although you can use whichever one you are most comfortable with.
Step #5: Get a webhost.
Again, this is a pretty simple step. There are many good hosting companies available. My favorites include HostGator and BestHosting4Marketers.
Step #6: Install membership management software on the web server.
Best thing to do here is to go to Google and do a search for 'membership management software'. I just don't think that it's right for me to try and tell you what to get here as this will be entirely determined by the type of membership site you are trying to create, your finances that you have available for the software, and possibly even by the hosting that you chose earlier.
Step #7: Install a CMS on the server to manage content.
There are several types of CMS (Content Management Systems) that are available, including WordPress and Drupal to name a few. Again this decision is mostly going to be determined by the membership management software you choose. In fact [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], some of the more expensive membership systems will have a CMS system built in so there would be no need. Just check your software to see exactly what you would need here.
Step #8: Add content.
Remember [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], all content, whether it is written, audio or video content, must be pertinent to the theme of your membership site.
Step #9: Set up payment processing.
This is done on sites like Paypal or ClickBank. You need this whether you are selling memberships in addition to your free membership or if you are selling your merchandise.
Step #10 Launch the site.
That's it! Start building traffic to attract members.
