Looking for ways to cultivate your home's spending a luck? Here's how I gave our old family apartment a explosion of color - without bursting our budget!
I was tired of looking by the same old world intonations in our family room. Everything appeared so “safe” and blah.
With winter storms blowing in each week, I ambitioned a fresh burst of spring! But I had to linger within a budget as we just finished up with holiday spending.
I explored through Pier 1 Imports and with magnificent ease I collected a few chromatic and well-made items and put those together to coordinate an famous new look in our family room that shrieked “fresh and living!” I began along removing the throw pillows that came with our sofas. I replaced them with sunny gold pillows. I was just looking for a splash of color to brighten those sofas.
On the walls, I relocated a hanging timer and took down age exhausted pieces of artwork and replaced them with paintings with the same vibrant gold color to honor the current theme: fashionable life! Pier 1 had some brilliant silk florals on sale and I grouped them up with a handsome red hand thumped cup vase for a stunning look.
Finally, I grouped a cluster of simple white glass bougie holders of assorted sizes, inserted brand new scented yellow candles and the look was elegant, additionally comfortable and new. For fewer than $150 I changed a tired room and gave it a clean, fresh new look.
That’s all we needed!
We didn’t absence to draw, purchase new furniture etc. It equitable needed a elevate, and our spirits soared.
You don’t forever have to muse huge while redecorating. Something for small for new dart pillows and new dispersed throw carpets might be all you need.
Have fun!
