Hello WordPress, Bye MTShare this Blog Entry: Effective today forward, this blog is run on the WordPress platform8230;and for the previous 2 years it was on the MT (Moveable Type) platform. The biggest reason for the change is that WordPress is PHP driven and our tech team can make global changes to the blog whenever we want to add or change a feature8230;and it won8217;t take a day of work to update all of the templates. Bottom line: It8217;s a SPEED issue. Smile

I know some folks are MT-zen warriors, but after running MT for 2 years,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we just never got zen enough in it to like it.WordPress also has a serious load of plugins plus if we don8217;t find a plugin, we can write it ourselves and snap it in. Hacking MT with plugins proved more difficult.Also,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], new feature: You can now subscribe via RSS to any of the comment threads so you can be alerted via RSS when there is a new comment on a thread you want to watch.Lastly, how do you like the new comments style sheet we added? Go check out one of the blog entries with a bunch of comments on it and you8217;ll see a numbering scheme that I8217;ve been wanting to add to this blog for a month.
