air jordans 2011 How to Overcome and Stop Procrast |

Motivational speaker Rita Emmett recommends setting rewards for doing things that are undesirable. If vacuuming is difficult, a person may look forward to having a treat at the end of such an unpleasant task. They deserve it for having persevered. They may find that next time they will be just that little bit more motivated about vacuuming the house.
Lack of Motivation Towards Boring Tasks
Killing Procrastination Instantly

Procrastination is a less emotive term for laziness that leads to a time-consuming lack of productivity. Individuals might not like to admit it but whenever things are put off, the person who does so becomes lazy. The more that things are put off, the more difficult it can be to destroy the cycle. It becomes a habit.
Another main contributor to procrastination is putting off things that almost everyone doesn’t want to do. The tasks are probably the least likable among duties. Hence, motivation is a key factor in overcoming procrastination. If individuals absolutely can’t stand mundane house chores [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it is virtually impossible for him/her to get motivated.
Fear of the unknown is a perpetual struggle against what might be. It is people’s thoughts and perceptions about the unknown that mainly debilitate them. For example, someone might think that class presentations at college are a highly unpleasant task. That will surely cause that person to leave all the necessary preparations until the last minute. How did it benefit such an individual by adding to the already high stress levels by procrastinating?
Procrastination is one of the most time-consuming events in life. If it is yielded to, nothing gets done. People become increasingly stressed and frustrated. But if everyone were to realise that procrastinating will ultimately make things a lot harder than what they are already, especially when it comes to confronting the unknown. Avoiding procrastination means one can be spared such a needless burden.

The moment someone realises that procrastination causes needless anxiety is the moment they’ll start to overcome procrastination (Emmett, 2000).
Fear of the Unknown
There may be more to procrastination than what meets the eye. Basic laziness is just the tip of the iceberg. Other issues such as fear of the unknown and strong dislike of various compulsory activities may also induce procrastination. But there is hope.
It is common for individuals to put something off that they don’t want to do, because they are afraid of what to expect. They might be scared of failure and the resulting stress of having failed. They often talk themselves out of confronting the unknown. They know that sometimes the known is horrible enough but the unknown is something entirely worse. Procrastination is the unfortunate result.
