Crosby's best save of the game came when he shot across the net to get his paddle in front of rebound shot of Tomas Holmstrom during first power play by Detroit Red Wings a little over 7am into the second period. Red Wings captain Nicklas Lidstrom really felt like that one was going in. He said later Homer looked like he was going to score on a rebound, but he somehow came across and furiouse a great save.
