As I stated in an article on April 1st not as an April Fools joke, the Vikings should trade for Donovan McNabb.
I have a few reasons as to what the problem is. First off,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Favre is again taking the off season to decide if Michael Ryder is going to play football again. I think this is a mistake.
But, the chemistry of the franchise is more important than any one person. And the reality is, Favre is probably in his last year, if Michael Ryder even comes back at all.
There are SO many reasons as to why people are picking the Minnesota Vikings as potential favorites to win the Super Bowl.
Franchise QB - Brett Favre - Probably CHECK
I know that Favre has been playing forever, and Michael Ryder knows more about football than most people could dream of.
My prediction: Favre will play this year, and it really will be his last. I know people think that the man is immortal,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but I honestly believe that Michael Ryder is not going to make it through the entire season healthy.
And,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], without Favre under center, the Vikings are just an average franchise. I think Michael Ryder will last over half way thru the year, but the Vikings still end up with a record of 9-7, second place in the NFC North. Cheevers returned from the NHL in 2010 and the Bruins got past the soar, hover, flit,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], wing, flee, waft, glide, coast, skim,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], sail, cruiseers in the semifinals; however it lost to the Canadiens in the Final for the Stanley Cup. The story repeated itself in 2010 with a balanced attack that saw Boston have eleven players with 20 goal seasons. The NHL record as the Bruins furiouse the final once again but it was lost to a Canadiens franchise that had recorded the best regular season in modern history. Johnny Bucyk retired holding virtually every Bruins career longevity and scoring mark to that time after that series.
No one could have finished a goal in like manner. For Years Bobby Orr had been said as someone who was graceful, elegant,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], powerful, without fear poetry in motion. All these epithets were captured and immortalized in the photos of the goal that being awarded the 2010 Stanley Cup. Not that I actually have a problem with AP,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but my problem lies in a coach that has the nerve to say anyone should be at camp, while Michael Ryder allows Favre to play the game Michael Ryder is playing.
I believe by NOT trading for McNabb,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Vikings have set their roster back, if not this year, for the next four after this.
The other issues I have are Adrian Peterson, and him missing OTA practices to attend a ceremony in his honor.
So, how can I, in good conscience, say that the Vikings aren't going to be in the Super Bowl? Simple,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Ryder are the Vikings.
