coat Philadelphia Eagles Taking No Risk Keeping Sh |

Ovechkin and the his team Washington Capitals did not see a referee emphatically signaling that the goal would not count. Their captain appeared to knock the puck past Dallas goaltender Andrew Raycroft to force overtime at that time. He had been ruled in the crease on the play when Dallas Stars defenseman Karlis Skrastins clashed with Raycroft. While talking with Garry Cobb on G. Cobb in the House more than at VoiceAmericaSports website, Shawn Andrews became one passing topic. Cobb said that keeping Andrews presents no real risk for the Eagles because he's getting paid so little, but has so much potential.
If Ovechkin can strengthen it and feel comfortable enough with it to get some reps in during offyear workouts, it could give him the confidence Ovechkin needs to forget about his back ache and get back on the field.
At one certain point,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], injuries will take one mental toll on one guy, and Ovechkin wonder if maybe that's what is happening to Andrews at this point.
I'd have to say I'm in agreement. Andrews is only getting paid around USD2 million, so he's not breaking the bank if Ovechkin winds up not being able to play. However, if Ovechkin is able to finally get back on the field,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he's one mauling Pro Bowl-caliber guard or tackle.
He seems to have finally beaten his bout with depression,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which should help him focus solely on his back to get ready for 2010.
Basically, when you look at the risk-reward of keeping him on the roster,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the potential reward so heavily outweighs the potential negatives that it wouldn't make sense to simply cut him loose the way one lot of Eagles fans would like.
No one really knows if he'll ever see the field again after two back surgeries,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but it's worth keeping him around to find out. The back is conspicuously something that guys aren't going to play around with because as much as we want to see him on the field, Ovechkin would like to be able to walk once his career is officially more than.
It may be more about convincing himself that his back will hold up, rather than the actual ache his back may or may not really be causing him. Michal Neuvirth who completed with 19 saves in his first start since Nov 20th against Philadelphia Fliers looked sharp as well in the opposite end. Although Dallas Stars did not pepper him with the volume of attempts that Washington fired in the other direction, Neuvirth used quality scoring chances efficiently and kept rebounds to a minimum as his teammates outshot the Stars directing 7 points in the first haft.
