ger-songwriters James Taylor and Carole King have announced dates for the US thigh of their much-anticipated Troubadour Reunion tour.
King 1st base renown as a Tin Pan Alley composer [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], churning out 1960s kicks such as Will You Love Me Tomorrow, (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman and The Loco-Motion. But it was King's performance with Taylor at the Troubadour that heralded her transition to solo artiste. Her 1971 album Tapestry went on to sell more than 25 million copies international and made King the premier woman to obtain 4 Grammys in a single year.
Taylor, who was originally signed to the Beatles' Apple label, has sold more than 40 million albums. Both he and King have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The mind for the tour came after a sequence of six performances the pair gave at the Troubadour in 2007 to celebrate the venue's 50th anniversary.
Taylor said in a recent interview he hoped to stage the concerts in the round with him and King remaining on the stage attach throughout the show.

Taylor's maximum recent album was his 2009 EP Other Covers,a follow-up to his hit 2008 loosen Covers. Both are included entirely of Taylor's manifold interpretations of classical anthems from Chuck Berry to Leonard Cohen. King's last laboratory loosen was 2001's Love Makes the World.
