close friend’s mother was placed into a rehabilitation facility after recovering from a surgery that resulted in her inability to speak. She was admitted into the rehabilitation center with a small pressure ulcer on her left buttock and a separate one on her tailbone Unable to speak AirMax 2003, this woman slowly died a painful death because her caring facility staff did not want to provide basic care to her. Basic instructions such as rotating her body from side-to-side to help the pressure ulcer heal was ignored Air Max 180, as well as keeping the area dry was ignored. These would have been basic preventive care and it was ignored. As a result of the RN’s inability to follow the care instructions from the doctor, this ulcer got larger and deeper. The patient was denied an airbed Air Flight Classic, as it was felt she was not in the facility long enough to justify the cost to purchase the bed for her. The end result became death. Her separate pressure ulcers soon became one instead of two and went so deep into her tissues it caused sepsis and became her death.
