Nike Zoom Blur Are You Limited at Your Learning |
|
e of us are in message overload, meantime others are undergoing from too much "know-how". In one of my last treatises, Too Much Information is Bad for Results, I discussed ways to aid you with information overload. Today, I want to talk to you about how too much knowledge tin limit your life.
In life, we have wisdom and we have experience. While, I trust in acquiring as much knowledge for feasible (at fewest in the districts of your life you think major), experience always has been and always will be a better pedagogue.
That's why I impulse you to see by how many studying you're doing. It may be also many. And though namely may seem favor one oxymoron I assure you knowledge too many namely slowing you down in life.
In truth, whether you're learning too much, you're limiting your life. How? Here are 2 quotes that pretty much amount it up. I'll give you 1 quote by the time and acquaint you how learning is restricting your life:
1. "The wise are not learned; the learned are not wise" -from the Tao Te Ching by Lao-tse.
You see, wise males (or women) are not people who learn all daytime long and have a heap of knowledge.
Instead, the sapient are human who've educated from experience, no methodology. They are people who have lived and made mistakes, not just peruse approximately mistakes.
They are people who comprehend for they've "been there". If you're often learning and not doing, then you're limited. You're learned, merely not wise.
2. "A frog that lives in a well cannot imagine the sea. Nor can a summer moth conceive of ice. How then can a scholar understand the wise? He is restricted by his own learning." -paraphrased and reworded for this instance by me from the Taoist writer Chuang-tse
The learned and educated are restricted and finite by their own learning. Don't get caught in this cage. Instead, learn what will get you closer to what you actually absence and then work out and take movement.
Live the experience, don't just learn about it. Feel the sensations, don't just read about them.
Live without limits along limiting your learning. Don't permit your learning to limit you. Life is too short because that.
In closing,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so what's more knowledge or the experience?
