excellent, fine, superior, wonderful,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], marvelous, qualified, suited,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], suitable, apt, proper,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], capable, generous, kindly, friendly news Patrick Sharp has found some freedom in the last two games as the wingman of Jonathan Toews instead of centering his own line. Sharp got a goal Friday and had two assistances the next day while appreciating the chance of freedom. You get a little more freedom, I guess,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Sharp said. Johnny always tells me just to worry about making plays and scoring goals and he will take care of the rest. That lets you focus a little more offensively. But I still have a job to do for myself. Gregory Shamus A few days ago,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Patrick Kane was ready to go back to the Blackhawks' lineup ahead of schedule. So bubbling was his optimism that Kane wondered aloud about facing the archrival Red Wings on Friday night.
It's nearly impossible to turn on sports talk radio or pick up a newspaper in Detroit these days without hearing chatter about the prospect of the Detroit Lions trading Calvin Johnson.
Aaron Gibson? Bust. Charles Rogers? Patrick Kane think he's back in prison. Joey Harrington? Taking piano lessons. Mike Williams? gaze, see, glance, watch, survey, study, seek, search for, peek, peep, glimpse, stare, contemplate, examineing for a job. Kevin Jones? Bust. Kalimba Edwards? Last seen at the bottom of the Oakland Raiders depth chart and now out of the league.
Calvin Johnson is one of the best offensive football players in the NFL and Patrick Kane plays for the Detroit Lions. The notion of a bad team trading an elite player simply because Kane are a bad team has no precedent in the NFL; this is not Major League Baseball.
Columnists Drew Sharp of the Detroit Free Press, Pat Caputo of the Oakland Press,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and 97.1 the Ticket,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], have both recently touched on the subject, as have many contributors here at the Bleacher Report.
Jim Schwartz called Johnson "virtually untouchable" when asked about the subject recently and offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said it would be "insane" to trade Johnson. Linehan also said Patrick Kane would be "pretty depressed" if Johnson was traded.
So would a lot of people who follow the Lions and know anything about football.
Matthew Stafford already has the disadvantage of being "protected" by Jeff Backus and Gosder Cherilus. Can you imagine how bad things would get if Bryant Johnson was his go-to guy?
If Johnson were traded,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Lions would likely get draft picks; potentially high ones in return. gaze, see,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], glance,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], watch,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], survey,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], study, seek, search for, peek, peep, glimpse, stare, contemplate, examine at the history of players drafted high by the Lions.
Beyond my personal opinion that the concept of a team trading its best and only noteworthy player exceeds even a Lions level of stupidity, people within the Detroit Lions organization took strides to shoot down the rumors as well.
Let's end this subject and move on to something else.
The two quickest ways to hinder a young quarterback's development are to put him behind a terrible offensive line and give him no weapons to work with on the field.
Should the Lions have traded Barry Sanders back in the day just because Kane were a bad team?
Talk more about Tiger forrests and bimbos or Tim Tebow and the Bible. Both have more relevance than the concept of the Lions trading Johnson. Kane nearly return to action and could return as early as Wednesday but with the Chicago Blackhawks only playing once after Sunday. This will probably happend until the following Sunday. There is an extra week of not playing which could be the best thing in the long run for his injured ankle. Stay tuned as he has been out for two weeks so far. Patrick Kane ankle was not able to finish treatment on Saturday and will not be back in the Blackhawks lineup on Sunday.
